Job Coach/SCL Specialist: Cresco (Flexible Part-time)

As a Job Coach, you will make a huge impact on someone's life by assisting individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities overcome challenges to thrive in community employment. You will assist individuals with learning job tasks, create customized strategies to meet their employer's expectations, assist in communicating with their employer, and document about interactions and supports provided.

As a Supported Community Living Specialist, you will provide appropriate interventions to teach clients skills involving activities of daily living, community integration; functional, social, and skills to promote physical and emotional health.

* Dependability. Attend work as scheduled. Complete responsibilities, tasks, and trainings within assigned timelines.


* Integrity. Doing what's right. Trustworthy. Able to comply with all agency and regulatory standards. Maintain standards of confidentiality (HIPAA) and ethical practice.


* Communication. Demonstrate effective communication skills both written and verbal. Able to document work as trained.


* Computer familiarity. Able to browse internet, use email and electronic health system (training provided).


* Committed to inclusion and building relationships. Respecting others.

Qualifications:


* 18 years of age or older.


* Associate Degree, or HS Diploma/GED & 6 months' experience.


* This position requires a valid drivers license, auto insurance, a good driving record, a reliable vehicle, and the ability to pass an extensive background check, including checks on the Department of Adult Abuse registry, the Sex Offender registry, and a criminal history check.

Day Program Instructor (Full-time)

 Summary of Position:

Day Program is a habilitative program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are first and foremost responsible for the clients’ well-being and safety. Day Program is centered on both facility and non-facility based activities. While at the facility, our clients experience group discussion that are led and taught by the Program Instructors with the aid of Direct Support Professionals including group games, simple educational lesions (i.e. reading, writing, math, money skills, etc.), arts and crafts projects, and living skills focused on increasing independence. Day program also offers outings including nature trips, museum visits, recreational activities, and volunteer opportunities.

Qualifications:

Basic computer skills with experience OR ability to learn electronic record system
Must be able to pass an organization background check
High School degree required
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Strong communications skills
Must be a team-player and self-directed
Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
