At The Spectrum Network, we are proud to support individuals as they work toward their goals and build meaningful connections in their communities. This quarter, we’re highlighting Chelsea Holthaus, whose journey reflects growth, perseverance, and the power of community support.

Can you tell us a little about yourself and your journey with The Spectrum Network?

I started with Spectrum back in 2018. Before that, I worked at various places, but when I joined, things really began to change for me. The services and support I’ve received through Spectrum have allowed me to make strides in both my personal and professional life. I started attending Day Habilitation and have since worked on multiple goals that continue to help me grow.

What are some of your favorite activities or accomplishments you’ve achieved through our programs?

One of my favorite activities is participating in the outings organized by Day Hab. I enjoy going to local restaurants with friends and trying new things. It gives me the chance to connect with people, have fun, and try new experiences that I may not have had the opportunity to do on my own.

What goals are you currently working on, and what motivates you to achieve them?

Currently, I’m working on being more confident in social settings and improving my communication skills. I want to be able to interact with others more easily and feel confident in new situations. What motivates me is the desire to live a more independent life and to connect better with others.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or recognize for supporting you along the way?

I want to thank Sarah Johnson for always being there for me, encouraging me, and pushing me to step out of my comfort zone. Her support has made all the difference in my journey.

What advice would you share with others who are pursuing their own goals?

My advice is to take it one step at a time. Even when things seem tough, keep going. Don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it. Everyone has their own path, and it’s okay to take things at your own pace.

Chelsea has made great progress on her goals and is an inspiration to others pursuing their dreams. We are so proud of the work she’s doing and excited to see her continue to achieve great things!
