Tickets now on sale for "A Taste of August"

Get ready for elegant outdoor dining dîner sur l'herbe (dinner on the lawn)! The Spectrum Network will host "A Taste of August" on Saturday, August 14, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Seed Savers Exchange in Decorah. The evening will feature fine food and live entertainment in the theme of a French country outing, plus an auction of "experiences," such as a Lansing loft getaway, a George Lowe pottery workshop, and a "birds-eye" tour of northeast Iowa by plane. All proceeds from the evening will support services provided by the Spectrum Network. Executive Director Toni Smith calls the event "a party for a good cause . . . It's about celebrating the abundance of the harvest and of our community, and lingering over great food and music in a beautiful country setting."
