Authors of disability essays will be interviewed on Iowa Public Radio

The Spectrum Network and several northeast Iowa authors and students will be featured Wednesday, June 23, on "The Exchange," a live call-in show on Iowa Public Radio. Guests will include contributors to From My Perspective: Essays about Disability, and students who studied the book for a class at Wartburg College.

The program will air from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm on Iowa Public Radio stations, and online by live streaming audio feed on www.iowapublicradio.org. Listeners can comment or ask a question during the show by contacting the studio at 1-866-780-9100 or theexchange@iowapublicradio.org. A podcast will be available for playback online after the show.

Published last August by The Spectrum Network, From My Perspective includes essays by seventeen authors who have a disability or provide support as a parent or other caregiver. The book was edited by Rachel Faldet and Kris Schanilec.
