Authors of disability essays read in West Union, Iowa

Community members gathered at the West Union, Iowa, library on March 6 for a reading and book signing by authors of From My Perspective: Essays about Disability. 

Among those who read were John Kane, Faye Bockman, Chris Wyse, Terri Larson, Charla Hageman and Betty Schmitt. Also attending were essayist Dave Hageman, and co-editors Rachel Faldet and Kris Schanilec.

The book is the outcome of writing workshops held by The Spectrum Network and includes seventeen essays on aspects of living with disability. Purchase copies and learn more about the book.
