Kleckner and Kowalke join Spectrum board

The Spectrum Network is pleased to welcome Kent Kleckner of Decorah, and Todd Kowalke of Cresco to its board of directors.

Kent is Manager of Bank of the West and a graduate of Wartburg College. He also serves on the board of Winneshiek County Development Inc., and is a member of the Trout Run Trail Public Art Committee, Winneshiek County Pheasants Forever, and the Rotary Club. Kent and his wife, Jill, have three children.

Todd is an attorney at Kowalke Law Firm in Cresco. He has degrees from Winona State University and Drake Law School. He is on the board of the Howard County Agricultural Society and is Lay Leader of the First United Methodist Church of Cresco. Todd has two daughters in college.

Jill Kleckner completed a two-year term on The Spectrum Network's board of directors in December. Executive Director Toni Smith credits Kleckner with helping the organization create a new strategic plan. "At a time when we were re-grouping organizationally, Jill's strong grasp of the strategic planning process helped us to quickly realign our plan to meet the needs of our stakeholders. Her background in education, and understanding of our programming have been great assets," said Toni.
