Cresco reading/book signing is Dec. 5

Cresco Public Library will host a reading, book signing and reception for From My Perspective: Essays about Disability, on Saturday, December 5, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Cresco author Betty Schmitt and others will read selections from their essays. The reception will also feature an exhibit of artwork created by clients of The Spectrum Network, on display at the library through December 18.

The library event is part of The Spectrum Network's thirty-fifth anniversary celebration. It is free and open to the public.

From My Perspective is available in area libraries and can be purchased at Luther Book Shop, Spectrum Thrift Store, The Spectrum Network's central office in Decorah, and the chambers of commerce in Cresco and Decorah. The book publication was funded in part by the Winneshiek County Community Foundation.
