Cresco

Cresco, Iowa, is the Howard County seat. Founded in 1966, its population is now approaching 4,000.

Cresco has numerous recreational and leisure opportunities. The historic Cresco Opera House hosts nightly movies as well as live theater performances by the Cresco Community Theater.

Other attractions include the Cresco Fitness Center, Prairie Edge Nature Center, Full Circle Corn Maze, Cresco Farmers Market and several summertime festivals.
